1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using KanDu, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Service Description
KanDu provides AI-powered home repair diagnosis and cooking guidance. Our AI analyzes photos, videos, and audio to offer suggestions and repair plans. KanDu is an informational tool — it is not a substitute for professional inspection, licensed contractor work, or certified repair services.
3. Important Safety Disclaimer
AI diagnoses are suggestions, not guarantees. Always follow local building codes and safety regulations. For electrical work, gas lines, structural issues, or anything involving personal safety, consult a licensed professional. KanDu is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from actions taken based on AI-generated advice.
4. Payments & Refunds
Free diagnoses are always free. Advanced diagnoses cost $1.99 per use, processed through Stripe. Expert video calls are priced per session. All payments are non-refundable unless the service fails to deliver a result, in which case you may contact support for a credit.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all photos, videos, and audio you upload. By using KanDu, you grant us a limited license to process your media through our AI services for the purpose of generating your diagnosis. We do not use your media for advertising or sell it to third parties.
6. Limitation of Liability
KanDu is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI diagnoses, contractor quality, or outcomes of any repair work. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
